Vicky Protopapadaki holds a MSc in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare (Distinction) from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies of the University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of the Aegean. She researched feline behaviour and welfare at the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada, and initiatives and gaps in animal welfare education in Europe at the Institut de recerca i tecnologia agroalimentaries in Spain; she has published research in both fields. Currently, she works as a scientific editor in the animal sciences and as an animal studies tutor for a private college in the UK.
